Mrs. Jacquelyn Salazar
The 2015-16 School Year here at Manzano Middle School will be one filled with exciting new adventures in learning. The students will be challenged to their highest potential. A new challenge for this school year will be the 8th grade science STAAR exam on May 11, 2016. In order to prepare for this exam, I will need your cooperation I need my students to come prepared to class every day. This means they need supplies, a restful body, appropriate attire, a positive and respectful attitude and the willingness to learn. Unexcused absences and tardiness will not be tolerated as they interfere with instruction. Please reinforce these expectations to your children and review them daily. The list of rules for my class along with rewards and consequences are listed on my syllabus link. The reason these rules are put into place is to ensure that eah child receives every minute of quality instruction they deserve. I look forward to being your child’s 8th grade science teacher.
